Workshop on Internationalization of Scientific Journal of Economics and Business conducted by the Journal of Indonesian Economy and Business (JIEB), Faculty of Economics and Business UGM, held at the Audio Visual Room, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada, Thursday (26/11). Journal Internationalization fund from DIKTI

In the middle of 2008, JIEB got internationalization process fund from Directorate General Higher Education Department of National Education Republic of Indonesia (DIKTI) for three years, and it was about Rp 150.000.000 (a hundred and fifty thousand million rupiah) each year for electronic JIEB (e-journal) publishing with international format and standard and published internationally. By this fund, it is expected that JIEB is able to give better service to subscribers in Indonesia and overseas and broaden networking with academic institutions all over the world.
 
Realization of Internationalization Program

From 2009-now, JIEB's printed edition and e-journal in English. Finding international editor board especially is ASEAN region. making new and integrated JIEB’s website. The most important realization is changing the name ‘Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis Indonesia’ (JEBI) into English’s name Journal of Indonesian Economy and Business (JIEB) that will be published 3 times a year, in January, May and September. Another realization is determining new price of journal which has been valid since January 2009.

     JIEB in 1986-1996 appears 1 times by the year.
     JIEB in 1997-2008 appears 4 times by the year, that is January, April, July and October.
     JIEB starts from 2009 appears 3 times by the year, that is January, May and December.

With the newest journal price policy, JIEB subscribers will be able to get journal by needed article and it is economical. In the future, JIEB will find institutional subscribers overseas, so JIEB will be known all over the world. For that reason, JIEB commits to improve involved personnel performance in order to go international by giving priority on e-journal as its newest product.
